MAXIMIZE THE PROFIT OF YOUR PHOTOVOLTAIC INSTALLATION

Installing a photovoltaic energy system can have a significant impact on both your savings and the environment. Here are five key tips to get the most out of your installation

    1. Concentrate your consumption during peak production hours: use high-consumption appliances during peak solar production hours, usually between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Whether you have air conditioners or radiators, set them to a moderate temperature when your installation starts producing energy and has excess. This way, you will avoid your home accumulating too much heat or cold and maintain a comfortable environment with lower energy consumption.
    2. Monitor and program your system: use a monitoring system to track the performance of your solar panels. This will help you detect any issues and ensure everything is functioning correctly. If your appliances are programmable, set them to operate progressively, ensuring that demand does not exceed your energy production. If you work outside the home, program high-consumption appliances to operate during the hours when your solar installation is producing energy. If they are not programmable, you can install an external device that performs this function. If you want to know more about this, contact us with your questions, and we will tell you about our Smart Management System model.
    3. Keep the panels clean: dirt and dust can reduce the efficiency of the panels. Regularly clean your solar panels to ensure they receive as much sunlight as possible. At RAD ENERGY, we also offer this service to ensure your performance is always at its best.
    4. Choose an electricity tariff with two or three periods: this way, you can schedule your nighttime consumption to take advantage of cheaper rates, allowing you to save more and improve the payback of your installation.
    5. Energy storage: consider installing batteries to store the excess energy generated during the day. This will allow you to use the stored energy at night or on cloudy days. You can also opt for virtual batteries, which many suppliers already offer.
